TICKETS are now available for the 19th annual 'Kops and Kids' variety show, which takes place at Winsford's Civic Hall on March 15 and 16.

The show, which is organised by the police's community liaison department, will be compered by DCI Phil Thompson.

Among the officers starring in the show are PC Guy Lister, who will be playing his saxophone, and comedy duo PC John Pickering and PC Dave Banton.

Appearing alongside the police officers will be children from eight local schools - Cledford Juniors, Wimboldsley Primary, Wharton Juniors, High Street Primary, Grange Primary, Oaklands, Woodford Lodge High and Verdin High.

For the sixth year running, tickets for the fun-filled show cost just £1. The tickets are available from the schools involved in the show, or from the new Winsford police station.

All the money raised from the show will go to the police's community involvement fund, which provides donations to many local groups and organisations.
