AN appeal has gone out for Winsford and Middlewich families to take part in a new BBC1 documentary series.
Independent production company Testimony Films is making a series on the history of 20th century Britain.
It will be told through the story of families from one generation to the next, starting from the early years of the century and continuing through to the present day.
Researcher Mary Parsons said: "I am sure there are many families in Winsford and Middlewich with fascinating stories to tell.
"I would like to hear from families with older members who vividly remember the early years of the century.
"They must also have interesting characters down the generations whose experiences will reveal how much family life has changed over the century.
"We need the co-operation of husbands and wives, sons and daughters, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren so that we can bring the story of each family up to the present day."
If you think that your family has a good story to tell, you can contact Mary Parsons at Testimony Films, 12, Great George Street, Bristol, BS1 5RS.
