CREWE and Nantwich MP Gwyneth Dunwoody has approached the Government's Roads Minister in a bid to get a "hard and fast" date for the inclusion in the roads programme of the A500 link road.
Mrs Dunwoody pointed out to Baroness Hayman that although the previous government had frequently discussed the matter with local representatives, it had never encouraged the local populace by offering a start date.
Baroness Hayman said that all representations would be carefully studied before a decision was taken.
