A HIGH speed car chase on the M6 motorway ended when thieves dumped their stolen car in Woolston.
Police chased the BMW at speeds of up to 150 mph after four men were seen leaving the scene of a burglary in Congleton on Wednesday morning.
As police closed in the men ditched the car in Woolston before trying to escape on foot through a housing estate.
The BMW had been stolen several days earlier from Alderley Edge.
Police dog teams later arrested four men, who were all from the Manchester area.
They were taken to Warrington police station for questioning about the break-in and the theft of a vehicle.
