MY daughter visited the UCI cinema at Westbrook on January 10 to see Spiceworld with her two friends.
Her birthday treat was spoiled by an ill-mannered mother who treated my daughter disgracefully.
It appeared that both parties' seats had been double-booked, which was not my daughter's fault.
I would like to say to this mother that I hope she doesn't go around treating other people's children like she treated my daughter. How can the younger generation learn respect when people like this mother treat them with disdain.
My daughter was brought up to be well-mannered and polite and so were her friends who were with her.
I can only say that this mother spoiled my daughter's birthday and I hope she feels sorry for taking it out on her.
