Warrington Borough Council has let this building fall into neglect for over 50 years and is now concerned about its condition.
The place should have been pulled down years ago.
One story behind Bewsey Old Hall being left empty since the 1930s was that a murder was committed there of a young person.
Another story is that during the 1940s, the building was left empty because of a 'presence,' to the layman a ghost.
Many Bewsey children over the years were told to stay away from the unsafe, dilapidated building by their parents telling them that "if you go into Bewsey Old Hall, the ghost will get you."
At night, the place has an eerie look about it. Spooky.
