THAI boxing sensation Warren Brown is celebrating after picking up his fourth major fight title.

The 19-year-old has added yet another belt to his collection with a unanimous points verdict against WMTO British featherweight champion Damien Trainor.

Brown stunned Trainor's home crowd at the Tower Ballroom, Birmingham, with a devastating display.

He will now have to find room in a trophy cabinet already heaving with the WAKO PRO British super featherweight, Commonwealth featherweight and SIMTA British featherweight crowns.

Dave Jackson, senior instructor at Warrington Thai Boxing Club, said: "It's a fantastic achievement, specially for a lad who's still so young. Warren and Damien are both exciting, young talents and it was always going to be a great fight.

"The crowd was a real Who's Who of Thai boxing because everyone wanted to see the fight. Damien soon found out that hurting Warren just makes him come back twice as hard.

"Warren works incredibly hard at his sport and in the end he was just too strong for Damien."

Brown is now turning his attention towards Europe as he looks to build himself up for a crack at the world title.

Jackson said: "Warren is still young and needs a bit more experience under his belt. But the day isn't too far away when he'll be ready for a shot at the big one and the world had better watch out when he is!"

The club, which is based at the Cheshire Martial Arts Centre, also has two members fighting for kick boxing world titles in Paris on March 6.

James Burgess, a former British Thai boxing champion, will fight reigning super featherweight champion Abdul El Quandili while Kevin Harper challenges welterweight champion Francois Pennachio.

Jackson said: "It should be a great evening in Paris. James and Kevin are both very talented fighters and they'll give the champions a good run for their money."
