IT SEEMS Warrington just isn't posh enough for Posh Spice.

She's been looking for a love nest in the town with her fiance, Manchester United soccer star, David Beckham, but even a £600,000 mansion in Appleton couldn't satisfy the celebrity couple.

David first viewed the property on Lyons Lane with football pal, Teddy Sheringham, but Victoria turned her nose up at it because she wants to live somewhere with a wall round it!

The fabulous house is described by estate agents Ashall Burnett as an 'outstanding modern house in the grand manner with stunning neoclassical interiors." Its features include five suites comprising bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, a games room and a floodlit basketball pitch. There is even an annexe apartment which would come in useful when the girls come to stay!

The house was designed and built by David Siwoku, owner of Millennium Interiors in Stockton Heath.

He said: "Unfortunately David liked the house, but Victoria didn't.

"Apparently she wants a house completely surrounded by a wall."

Mr Siwoku plans to stay in the Warrington area after he sells his house, but as the Lyons Lane property spans more than 7,000 square feet, he says he's looking for something a little smaller now his children are moving on.
