ASDA Over FC's four new signings shone when the team took part in the Umbro International football festival in Manchester.
The four-day tournament included teams from America, Iceland, Israel and Finland.
Among Over's new signings is James Gavin, who has had trials with Liverpool and who finished top goalscorer for Over in the tournament.
Over manager Bishop said: "James is the best central midfielder in mid Cheshire and to have him back at Over is great for the team.
"He scores lots of goals from central midfield and that is what we lacked last season."
Another midfielder who is welcomed back is Karl Jones, a highly-rated young lad, and David Salmon makes up the hat-trick of midfielders signed by Over for next season.
Salmon can play on either side of midfield and is very skilful.
The last of the new signings is the biggest - 6ft tall 14-year-old Nicholas Corrigan, nephew of the famous Joe Corrigan, who played in goal for Manchester City and England.
Nick is following in his uncle's footsteps and kept three clean sheets in the tournament, a great achievement considering he has played only school football before.
The whole squad of players were outstanding in the tournament, playing six games before losing 1-0 to Swindon in the quarter-finals.
PLAYERS from seven to 16 years old are invited to attend Over's training sessions at Handley Hill on Saturday at 12.30pm. Anyone interested should contact Barbara on 0836 315690.
