CYCLING fans are invited to take part in a 21 mile ride around Sandbach and Alsager this month.
The ride, organised by the county council's Countryside Management Service, will be held on Thursday, August 20.
It starts from Sandbach Railway Station and heads out to Warmingham and onto the Elton Flashes before continuing down to Winterley Pool for lunch.
The cycle ride than goes on to skirt around Alsager and onto the Salt Line down to Hassall Green and a stop for tea and cakes.

There is no charge for this event but helmets must be worn and the last day for bookings in tomorrow, Friday, August 14.
