MOND had the early openings but the home side took the lead in the 22nd minute when Mond lost the ball on the halfway line and a pass inside the full-back allowed Pepper the space to hit a fierce shot beyond Bate in the Mond goal.
Heswall got a second goal in the 80th minute, a near post corner being headed across goal for Carson to head home unchallenged.
Mond pulled a goal back in the 88th minute, Evans driving in a low centre, Harkin stepping over it and Robbie wood turning to volley home the ball from 20 yards. Man-of-the-match for Mond, Peter Crane.
Next Saturday Mond visit Ashville for a League fixture, kick-off 3pm.
Players meet at Pavilions at 1pm.
The referee is Mr P Margerison assisted by J Blakemore and SJ Copeland.
