A RUNCORN man is being questioned by police following a armed raid on a shop in Palacefields on Saturday evening.
A pair of youths carrying knives entered the Spar shop at the Spar Local Centre at 7.30pm.
The robbers used the knives to threaten staff before making off with £200 in cash and an unspecified quantity of Manweb electricity metre cards.
Nobody was injured in the raid.
A man was arrested by Runcorn police shortly afterwards.
