A NEW look Somerfield store will be opened today, Wednesday, by Middlewich tot Chloe Flanders.
Chloe, aged four today, was chosen to throw open the doors of the supermarket to shoppers as a special birthday treat.
Store manager Tim Bailey and his team are looking forward to welcoming Chloe to the store.
"We thought it would be fun to share our opening day with a Middlewich child who is also celebrating.
"We've arranged a special present for Chloe as a thank you for cutting the ribbon and getting us off to a great start," explained Tim.
"Everyone is looking forward to the opening and working in a new environment. We are also very pleased that Somerfield has already been able to build so many good relations in the local community and hope that the new look store in Middlewich will continue to play a part in enhancing the quality of food shopping in the area."
He added: "Customers who visit the new look store will be in for a pleasant surprise. We have a great range of fresh foods on offer and an enthusiastic team that are eager to provide excellent customer service.
"I know a lot of people will be glad to see that Somerfield is keen to provide such a high standard of service for local shoppers."
