Business Link Vale Royal has developed a ground-breaking training programme - but thinks its current name is too complicated.
The Distributed Learning Network One project is aiming to set up the country's first virtual classroom - giving students the chance to study for NVQs without leaving work.
Computers equipped with modems will link students across Vale Royal with their tutors via a control centre in Winsford.
"Two hundred businesses will take part in this pilot project whose progress will be monitored by interested parties from around the world," said David Cotgreave, Business Link's head of research and development.
"The system will be up and running from next month so a new, catchy title for the project courtesy of our friends at Mid Cheshire College will be welcome.
"Distributed Learning Network One is a bit of a mouthful."
Business Link and Mid Cheshire College have teamed up with a Derbyshire firm to work on the project, which is being part-funded by Euro-cash.
And the group which comes up with the snazziest name and logo for the scheme will win a state of the art laptop computer.
"We were hoping to choose the winner by the end of July," added Mr Cotgreave.
"But the interest has been so great, we won't make our decision for another fortnight."
