Margaret Limb, of Beech Heyes Close in Weaverham, has organised the event in memory of her uncle, who lost his fight against cancer recently.
Proceeds from the day will go to the Sheltered Housing Minibus Appeal, and the Macmillan Community Nurses.
"My uncle was a great supporter of the minibus appeal," said Mrs Limb.
"But sadly he died before he could make a contribution to the fund.
"This is my own contribution in his stead."
The day will be packed with fun and games for all the family. The programme is as follows:
11am - official opening by Clr Ron Carey
11.15am and 1.15pm - Linedancing with the Mavericks
12.30pm and 2.30pm - Allsorts Dog Handling display
3.30pm and 4.30pm - Ju-jitsu demonstrations.
Hosting the event will be broadcaster Rick O'Shay, and other attractions include a family fun fair, an appearance by youth rock gospel group Barnaby, a police crime prevention display and a bouncy castle.
Charity groups are also lending a hand, including Eclipse Bereavement Counselling, Vale Royal Careline, Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare, the National Kidney Research Fund. There will also be prizes to be won in raffles and competitions. If you would like more information, or if you would like to donate cash or a prize, ring Mrs Limb on 01606 851302.
Local arts and craft stalls will be welcome - ring Mrs Limb to organise a place.
Roberts Bakery has also donated 500 batches for the event - so free light lunches will be available to Vale Royal pensioners on a first come, first served basis.
