MARK Hilton had his broken left arm plated with six screws at Stretton's BUPA hospital on Tuesday.
The Wolves player already has his eyes fixed on the earliest comeback date possible.
Hilton said: "I have been told it depends on players' healing rates and I do heal pretty good. It may be possible for me to try and get back for the last game of the season but I will have to see what the doctor says."
The Wolves prop remains positive despite his bad luck. He only returned from a right shoulder reconstruction in May.
Hilton said: "I can't believe it has happened but I came through so much with my shoulder to give up now and not carry on with training.
"It happened about 15 minutes into the second half when I was making a tackle. Darryl looked at it on video and it showed that my forearm hit the point of a player's elbow.
"I knew straight away something was wrong. I had a dead feeling in my arm and I just ran off the pitch."
