A BANDS and barbecue event is to be held in Winsford this weekend to raise hundreds of pounds for the Hillsborough Family Support Group.
The event, taking place at the Knights Grange Pub on Friday, August 28, until Bank Holiday Monday, August 31, will include bands entertaining a wide variety of musical tastes.
The bands - E Funky E, Monkey See Monkey Do, Twice Removed, Imperial and Rain Street - will be accompanied by a barbecue, bouncy castle and bucking bronco.
An auction will also take place to buy a signed Liverpool football with bids starting at £100.
Special guest at the charity gig is world champion boxer Shea Neary. His belt will be on display and he will be available to sign autographs.
