TONY Parkes will have a hands-on role at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur.
The 40-year-old has been named masseur for England's cycling squad.
"It won't be much of a holiday," he said. "There are 27 cyclists in the squad and each one will need treatment before and after races and training."
Tony has been involved with cycling for 13 years. He has travelled all over the world but admits he was shocked by his latest invitation. "It did come out of the blue," he said.
"I got a call from the road manager of the national squad. He said he only wanted the best men around him."
