A NEW agreement has been signed which should save council tax payers money.
Vale Royal Borough Council has hired Business Link Vale Royal to give advice on things like marketing, IT and exporting.
The service will be based at Business Link's Winsford headquarters and is designed to make sure there is no costly duplication of services.
Lisa Pritchard, Business Link's Chief Executive, said: "The bottom line is that this agreement saves council tax payers a great deal of money.
"Whereas councils have often operated their own business support and development programmes, Vale Royal Borough Council has recognised the expertise of Business Link in this field."
