KNYPERSLEY Vics are one off the bottom of the table after two defeats in the space of three days.

The Vics went down 2-1 on Saturday at Boldmere St Michael, and followed that up by a 3-1 defeat at home to Chasetown on Tuesday night.

Boldmere took the lead on the stroke of half time with a hard, low shot from one of their forwards.

Vics' striker Paul James equalised on 50 minutes by firing into the roof of the net after running into a through ball.

Boldmere missed a penalty on 70 minutes, but the scorer of their opener grabbed his second 14 minutes from time with a shot.

Knypersley hit the post twice through Dave Shallcross, one a header and the other a shot from 30 yards.

Craig Redgate got Knypersley's goal against Chasetown.
