TALENTED teenagers Kieran Jones, Roseanne Brown and Suzanne Elcombe have one thing in common - four A grades at A level!
Kieran scored As in chemistry, general studies, mathematics and physics at Westlands High School, Congleton, earning a B in further maths for good measure.
His results were the best at his school, while the top marks at Dane Valley High in Congleton came from Roseanne and Suzanne's four As.
Heathfield High's A level brainboxes were Janine Foerster and Nicola Spivey, who scored three As, Janine's PE result being among the top five in the country.
Congleton's A level students scored an 87.4 per cent pass rate, 38.8 per cent of the grades being A and B.
"It is pleasing so many students have achieved top grades,'' said Westlands head Marc Morris on behalf of the Congleton Sixth Form Federation.
"There have been some notable individual achievements by students from each of the town's three high schools.''
Dane Valley sixth formers Laura Conway, Holly Cartlidge, Lorna Frewer and Catherine Sims all achieved three A grades, success shared by Emma Flinn, Jessica Houghton and Colin Moore from Westlands.
"The results represent a great deal of hard work by students, and we wish them well for the future,'' added Mr Morris.
