CHARITY started in Nantwich last week when Borough Mayor Ray Stafford organised a roadshow in the town.
The Charity Roadshow had displays from 16 groups and organisations on Nantwich Square following a similar event in Crewe in July.
"Many people are totally unaware of the enormous amount of charity work which goes on in our borough helping the elderly, sick and vulnerable members of our community," said Cllr Stafford.
"It is difficult for these organisations to recruit new members. If these roadshows help I will be delighted."
