A MEMORIAL bowling match is being held to commemorate the heroic achievement of Cheshire regiment soldier Todger Jones, of Runcorn, who was awarded the Victoria Cross.
Halton British Legion will be playing Runcorn British Legion at the War Memorial on Sunday, September 27.
The event has been organised by Jo Darlington, president of Runcorn British Legion.
They will be playing for the Todger Jones memorial cup.
