A MIXED week for General Chemicals FC saw two losses and a draw.
The game against Mond Rangers on Wednesday saw Gen Chems three up after 15 minutes, with goals from Horton and Pearson (2).
But a pair of sendings off set Chems back and Mond scored three to ensure a draw.
A home defeat against Heswall followed on Saturday, Ingham scoring the goal in a 2-1 reverse.
The Bill Weight Trophy final against Poulton Vics also ended in 2-1 defeat, Pearson scoring the goal.
But manager Jimmy Williams has returned from a spell working abroad and will be taking charge of the Chemics for the new season.
