INTERNATIONAL companies are showing an interest in Halton's prestigious multi-million pound Daresbury Park development.
It is set to become one of the top European office parks - creating 7,000 new jobs over the next 10 years.
The 47.5 acre site is situated between the Daresbury Park Hotel and the M56.
No names can yet be revealed as confidential talks are still in the early stages.
The developers, Limewood Developments Ltd, are confident the project will be a huge success.
Speaking exclusively to the World, they said top companies are already showing an interest in the site, before the marketing programme has even been launched.
"A number of companies are showing a sizeable interest," said a spokeswoman for Limewood.
"We are confident we will be able to attract national and international companies.
"In terms of architecture, this will be one of the top European office parks. There will be nothing in the North West like this."
The infrastructure on phase one is almost complete as roads and services are being installed.
The development will be constructed in four stages.
Each unit will be tailor-made to suit the needs of every company.
"Once we start rolling out the marketing, we have some exciting things planned," said the Limewood spokeswoman.
Stockley Park, near London's Heathrow airport, she said, has been held up for many years as being Europe's leading office park.
But Daresbury Park, she said, is set to take on the new mantle of being Europe's very latest state-of-the-art business park.
It will take an estimated 18 months to construct each tailor-made unit, once a company signs up to move in.
