CLAIMANTS of Council Tax and Housing Benefit in Runcorn who have received review forms are reminded to return them to Halton Council as soon as possible.
The council is carrying out a review of benefit claims as it is legally required to canvas claimants annually to ensure their circumstances have not changed. Reminder letters have been posted to 376 claimants who have failed to return their review forms. Failure to return the forms will result in cancellation of benefit and full rent/Council Tax becoming payable.
