TWO HALTON council-owned vehicles were involved in a collision at a set of Widnes traffic lights.
A Sherpa van, driven by 45-year-old Widnesian Graham Barker, drove into the back of a stationary Halton Transport bus at Deacon Road traffic lights at 12.50pm on Thursday.
The van passenger, John James, from Ditton, went to Halton Hospital for treatment.
The bus driver, Peter Howard, 40, received slight injuries. The four passengers were uninjured.
The Sherpa van suffered severe frontal damage.
