KNYPERSLEY'S title hopes took a knock on Saturday when Longton held them to a draw.
Longton killed off the game as a contest by batting on for 60 overs, making it impossible for Knypersley to overhaul their opponents.
Longton failed to declare before tea, despite being 255 for three, and batted on to end on 285 for three.
Knypersley were 145 for seven in reply, to claim four points to eight for Longton.
The draw cost Knypersley their top of the table spot, dropping into second two points behind new leaders Audley, who they play at home on Saturday in a possible title decider.
Tournier hit 44 of the Knypersley total, followed by 27 for Rob Goodwin, 26 for Rob Riley and 20 not out for Jon Cumberbatch.
Knypersley 2nds were thrashed by Longton on Saturday, being shot out for 60, with Longton coasting home on 61 without loss.
However the 2nds are still 28 points clear of Longton at the top after Sunday's victory at Leek, who were all out for 113, Knypersley replying with 114 for one.
