A COUNCIL committee could soon become mobile around the borough if plans to hold one meeting away from Crewe are approved.
The Civic Affairs committee is this week considering a proposal to hold one meeting at an alternative venue to the Municipal Buildings.
Possible other places are Nantwich Civic Hall, Brookfield Hall, Nantwich, Shavington Village Hall and Wistaston Memorial Hall.
A spokesperson said: "Although there are many venues in the borough it is important it is appropriate for a public meeting.
and that it has at least the same access and accommodation for the press and public as the Municipal Buildings."
