CHURCHES across Crewe, Nantwich and Sandbach are holding special courses starting in September as part of a nationwide project.
Alpha courses will be held across the region as a way for people to talk and find out more about Christianity.
They include a series of short talks, a meal and discussion in small groups on a variety of subjects such as Who is Jesus, Does God heal today and What about the church?
The course, which incorporates 6,000 churches across Britain, is free of charge and for anyone including non-churchgoers.
This September is the launch of the Alpha Initiative which involves a Songs of Praise special, and 1,500 billboards across the country advertising Alpha.
The churches taking part are West Street Baptist, which also runs Youth Alpha, Bradeley Road Methodist, Haslington, St Bartholemews, Church Minshull and St Mary's in Sandbach.
In Nantwich the Regents Park Christian Fellowship is taking part along with St James the Great, Audlem, St Andrew's, Aston, St Mary's, Acton and St Oswalds in Worleston.
If you would like to find out more you can contact your local participating church or the regional adviser Reverend Andrew Baguley on 01928 722102.
