TWO men have appeared before South Cheshire Magistrates' Court charged with the abduction of a child in Middlewich.
Nicholas McLelland, aged 32, and Lesley Michael Lowe, aged 50, of Snugglebum canal boat, are alleged to have committed the offence on August 24.
McLelland has also been charged with the rape of a girl under 16 years and Lowe has been charged with allowing his premises to be used for unlawful sexual intercourse.
They are to appear before South Cheshire Magistrates' Court, Crewe, again today, Wednesday, for committal to Crown Court.
