A YOUNG Knutsford dad was killed in a motorbike accident on Monday.
Tim Hesketh, who was married with three young children, died when his 1,000cc machine collided with a car in a country lane.
Yesterday (Tuesday), his brother Paul described him as a great, family man.
"They had made big plans and were moving to a new house so that his wife Julie could be closer to her parents," said Paul.
Tim, 35, and his wife had been planning to move from their home in Oakfield Avenue, Knutsford, to a five-bedroomed detached house in Clitheroe.
Tim, a sales director for a computer company in Rochdale, had lived in Knutsford since he was a teenager.
"He was well liked and I never heard a bad word said about him," said Paul.
Police are appealing for witnesses to Monday's accident in Mobberley Road, Ashley.
The driver of the car was not believed to have been injured in the accident.
KILLED: Tim Hesketh
Motorcycling had become a passion for Mr Hesketh later in life after he developed an interest through friends.
