I CAN no longer contain my anger at the ridiculous traffic light set-up at the junction of Scotland Road and Buttermarket Street.
We have here a situation whereby one lane of traffic is on the move while the other lane is stationary.
This can be confusing enough for the younger generation. For the elderly it can be something of a nightmare.
I can understand the need for traffic turning into Academy Way to be in the right lane but even if a driver finds himself or herself in the wrong lane they can at least eventually turn around and enter Academy Way from the appropriate direction.
But there may be no coming back for any unfortunate person knocked down at this daft arrangement.
I urge the council to remedy this situation as soon as possible before it is too late. Here is an accident waiting to happen.
