THE Young Wolves turned in another disappointing performance against Hull on Sunday.
They were 6-0 down after sonly even minutes but narrowed the gap to two points on 16 minutes when Danny Buckley raced 25 metres to score an unconverted try.
However, the remainder of the first half was dominated by Hull as they stormed into a 22-4 lead.
This was extended to 28-4 after the break before Gareth Barber scored a try on 55 minutes.
Hull made it 34-8 before Andy Barr scored a try on the hour and John Duffy converted.
Two more tries and a conversion from Hull gave them a 44-14 lead before Sean Penkywicz ran in a late consolation try that Duffy converted.
Team: Gornik; Buckley, Callon, Barber, Yates; Duffy, Kirkbride; Parry, Penkywicz, Tyman, Simpson, Lowther, Sibbit. Subs: Tobin, Barr, Hughes, Fearnley.
Next game is Sunday, kick-off 12.30pm versus Featherstone Rovers, at Wilderspool.
