GOOD luck to all the youngsters in Winsford and Middlewich who tackled their first day at school this week.
It was nice to see them all toddle past my window looking spick and span in their new school uniforms, carrying huge satchels - a memorable day in many proud parents' lives.
They were well-behaved and an asset to the various schools they attend - if only they could stay like that forever.
The teenagers who also returned after the summer holidays were an absolute contrast - shouting, swearing and misbehaving.
