DANE Housing tenants are being invited to apply to join the company's board and help the company continue to provide affordable homes in the borough.
There are two vacancies for tenant members on the board of the company which took over the 4,000-plus housing stock from the borough council in March.
The posts are unpaid although expenses are reimbursed and members are expected to attend 10 meetings a year, usually held at the company's offices in Congleton.
Chief Executive Anne Ward said: "Our 15-strong board is made up of tenants, local authority representatives and professional and business people.
"Recent vacancies have now created an opportunity for two tenants to join us. If you have lots of energy and ideas and feel you can make a positive difference for tenants, then we want to hear from you."
For more information and an application pack ring 01260 281037 or write to Dane Housing Ltd, Market Square Offices, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 1EX. The closing date for applications is Sept 25.
