I VISITED Sankey Valley Park the other day with my children and what a lovely place it is. The sun shone and everyone was friendly, but one gentleman stood out from everyone else.
This gentleman was being stopped by a lot of people and being complimented about his lovely dog. I stopped to talk to him and made a fuss over his dog. The gentleman was delighted about the interest in his pet. It must have made his day to have so many people stop and talk to him.
We often don't make the effort in everyday life to stop and talk to each other. It would make such a difference, if we all made more of an effort. I would like to say to this gentleman and his dog, Pudsy, that you really made my day.
