TWO community bobbies have just completed a gruelling triathlon challenge.
Cronton police officers PC Colin Lewis and Mark Parker took part in three separate events.
The first was held in Powys, Wales, the second in Stranraer in Scotland and the third in Ripon, Yorkshire.
They finished the final leg - a 1.5km swim in a deep water lake, a 40k bike ride and a 10k run - in just three hours.
"It was the full Olympic distance," said Mark.
Altogether, the lads raised around £1,000.
The money was shared between a number of charities. They also donated a music centre to Cronton youth club.
