A WHEELCHAIR-bound woman in taking part in a parachute jump to raise funds for a care home.
Spina bifida sufferer Lyn Keouski, of Boxgrove Close, Widnes, is off to Lancaster at the end of the month to do the jump.
Lyn, 27, is confined to a wheelchair by her illness but is determined to fulfil a long-held ambition to jump from a plane.
"I had to go and get confirmation from my doctors, but they said it was fine.
"It's a bit of a risk, but once I come down there will be people there to check everything out," she added.
Lyn is jumping to raise money for the Sandpipers' home in Southport, a respite care facility for the physically and mentally disabled.
Lyn still needs sponsors. She can be contacted on 0151-420 6602.
