Lostock Gralam 0
Rylands 3
RYLANDS have climbed into second place in the Mid-Cheshire Soccer League table on the back of Saturday's fine win at Lostock Gralam.
After an even opening period, Rylands took the lead when a Buckley corner was headed in at the far post.
It was from another corner, this time played short, that Jeffrey scored from 20 yards.
Rylands scored their third goal when Wilson charged down the Lostock goalkeeper's attempted clearance and he banged the ball home from an acute angle.
The Rylands Reserves team had a miserable afternoon as they had eight goals smashed past them at Gorsey Lane by the Trafford Reserves.
Probably the least said about this performance the better but Rylands contributed to their own downfall with some dreadful mistakes that were severely punished by the visitors.
They will be hoping for abetter performance tomorrow, Saturday, when they travel to Ellesmere Part.
Tomorrow, the first team are at home to Whitchurch Alport, kick-off 3pm.
Meeting time for players is set at 1pm.
