LATCHFORD and Padgate rounded off the season in fine style on Sunday by lifting the FT Workman Trophy with a seven wicket victory over Moore and Daresbury.
Moore batted first and hit a challenging 116 from their 20 overs. John Stockton led the way with a fine 32. Hargreaves starred for Latchford, taking three for 30 from his five overs.
Latchford openers Andy Wilford and Wayne Hargreaves launched the reply by hammered 77 for the first wicket from only 11 overs.
Hargreaves capped a fine all round show by reaching 50 from only 61 deliveries.
Fittingly, Latchford captain Dave Jolley hit the winning runs to cap a successful first season in charge.
