AMBITIOUS plans to breathe new life into Walton Lock have been given the thumbs up by borough councillors.
Council chiefs approved a report into regenerating the derelict canal lock. But they need to find over £1million to fund it.
Clr Mike Hannon said: "This is another area in the town where we are seeking funds to bring it back to life.
"We have got lots of historical waterways and buildings within our borough. But we can't access the funding."
