NORTON ARMS go to the top of the Premier Division after their win over Castle. Bridge Timber had goals from Ford (2), Mottram, Tymokovsky and Dwyer in their 5-1 win over Wellie. Cherry Sutton and St Andrews battled out a 2-2 draw.

Golden Wonder hold top spot in the First Division after a 2-4 away win over Columbas Old Boys. The visitors went 4-0 up with goals from Forrest (2), Burton and McGuinness but the home side hit back in the second-half with two goals from Richardson but run out of steam in the end. Union Tavern are second after a 4-5 away win over Weston Point Seniors. The home side had two double strikes from Lyndsey and Droughton but were hit by goals from Smith (2), Pill, Nicholas, a scorcher from 30 yards with what proved to be the winner coming from Dolan. Halewood Labour hit the goal trail again defeating Simms Cross 6-2. Henley scoring both for the losers Travellers Rest had Wakefield (2), Potter, Wallace and Hill on target in their 5-1 win over Thatto Heath Railway. Waterloo had Melia and Powell on target in their 2-1 win over Hough Green. There was nothing to separate Red Admiral and High Leigh, the game ended all square at 3-3, two from Fox and an own goal for the home side with Hughes (2) and Frangrist scoring in the last minutes of the game to steal a point.

In the Second Division, Riverside had goals from Choat, Ravenill and Gott in their 3-3 draw with leaders Halfway Runcorn. Pipe & Gannex recorded a fine 1-7 away win over Railway and two hat-tricks from Banks and Baxter. High Leigh Res had Carter (2), Robinson, Brake and Jones on target in their 5-1 won over Trebla. A goal from Morris proved not enough for Golden Wonder Res they were defeated 1-3 by Todd Dynamoes. Forresters had goals from Prince (2) and Pugh but could only secure one point as they drew with Roosters 3-3.
