FORMER Page Three model Tracey Kirby. 32, and another woman are to face trial together in connection with a £10 million drugs ring, Belmarsh Magistrates decided today (Thursday).
TV presenter kirby of Hamburg Court, Cheshunt, Herts, former girlfriend of Geoff Knights, which is the current boyfriend of Gillian Taylforth the former Eastender's's star, faces three charges.
With Deborah Symeou, 40, of 26 Pilard Road, Wjetstone, she is accused of conspiring to import cocaine, conspiring to import cannabis and conspiring to benefit from the proceeds of drug trafficking after a Customs raid on a warehouse in Hatfield, Hertfordshire on Saturday April 23.
Cocaine weighing 30 kilos and 2.5 tonnes of cannabis are said to have been smuggled into Britain.
Kirby and Symeou were remanded in custody until Sept. 28 and 29 for committal.
Several other defendants who appeared with them and were all remanded in custody on various charges.
They were Xanthos Michael, 35, of 20 Sherrard's Way, Barnet; Kenneth Hooper, 56 of 4 Orion Way; Leighton Buzzard, Beds; Susan Richards, 32 no address given; Michael Michael, 40 of 7 Loom Place, Radlett, Herts, his wife Lynn of the same address; Janice Marlborough, 43, of 37 Titian Avenue, Bushey, Herts; Richard Hannigan, 54, of 54 Minterne Way, Hayes, Middx; Andre Caddoux, 48 of no fixed abode; Karen Baker, 33, of no fixed abode; Sylvia Allpress, 52 of 34 Great North Road, Barnet; Mile Laurence Maitre, 37 from Paris; Houssam Ali, 31 of 88a Drayton Gardens, West Brompton; and Mark Hooper, 40, of 31 Arlesey Road, Henlow, Beds.
They will appear again on October 15.
Christian Rey, 52, the alleged driver of the fun bus who lives in France was remanded in custody until Oct. 1.
At a previous hearing Joseph Smith, 50 of 15 Blakeney Court, 126 London Road, Enfield; Peter Jones, 54 of Golfyn Lane, Connahs Quay, Deeside; Jill Baker, 31, of Dobbin Close, Belmont, Harrow and John Warburton, 52, of 69 Grange Way, Runcorn, Cheshire were remanded on bail until November 2.
