A 16-YEAR-OLD youth has been arrested following a car accident in Runcorn on Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened at the junction between Murdishaw Avenue and Barnfield just before 1pm.
The youth was driving Nissan, which had earlier been stolen, when he collided with the rear of a Vauxhall Cavalier.
He failed to stop at the scene of the accident, but was later traced and arrested by police.
The driver of the cavalier, Andrew Bloxam, of Runcorn, was slightly injured in the collision.
