A NEW initiative to help young people make the right career move has been launched in Runcorn.
What Next? is aimed at teenage pupils, the unemployed, school leavers and young people who have just finished a college course.
It is also designed to help students who have just received exam results and are not sure what to do next.
The sessions have been running on Monday evenings on a drop-in basis.
The next session runs from 5.50pm-7.30pm on Monday September 28 at Synergy, 79-81 Church Street.
What Next? can help youngsters find out more information about a particular course, career or training opportunity.
Help is available with job search, filling in application forms, producing professional looking CVs and interview skills.
"Some young people may be uncertain about what to do next," said Barbara McInnes, of Synergy. "They may not know how to get back into the job market or lack the confidence or skills to move on.
"Also, if the only thing stopping you starting a college course, persuing an interest or fulfilling an ambition is lack of funds, we can provide information about how to apply for assistance from the Prince's Trust."
