Northwich police received over 100 calls following their appeal on Crimewatch last week and are still pursuing many of the resulting leads.
But three people wanted for questioning remain unidentified. They are:
A man in his late 50s or early 60s who was carrying a distinctive walking stick
A bearded man in his late 30s, around 5ft 6ins tall, who was seen driving a silver Ford Orion along Kennel Lane
A red-faced man who was seen running across Dalefords Lane around the time of the murder.
DCI Peter Rigby, in charge of the case, said: "The leads we have are ongoing, and we still have a team of over 50 officers on the case.
"As yet there are no arrests, but I would like to repeat the call to the public: please, if you haven't told us what you know yet, do so."
If you have any information on the murder, ring the incident room on 01244 613298.
