LIGHT-FOOTED Lianne Lewis has pirouetted to a place at Buxton Opera House for the second year running.
The 10-year-old Haslington dancer has been chosen again to compete in the national semi-finals of the Junior A.A.D Ballet Scholarships.
She was selected by a panel of Dance Association judges out of over 500 regional entrants to battle it out with 80 ballet students in an elimination group performance on October 18.
Haslington County Primary pupil Lianne has been treading the boards since she was three and perfects her routines at the Yvonne School of dancing, where she is the only student to make the semi-finals this year.
