THIS summer I took part in ROUTE, a magazine project for young people.
It was a really good opportunity to learn journalistic skills and take part in photography workshops.
I admit that initially it was my mum pressurising me to go but after the first sessions I enjoyed it enough to go back.
My summer was far more interesting than usual as I get bored after the first couple of weeks and I felt as though I had done something with my time.
If nothing else it has given me experience, which I might need if I want to pursue a career in the media or journalism.
I would like to know why there are not more projects like this in the Winsford area. I believe that they are really worth investing in.
I am also encouraging anybody who didn't get involved last year to go for it next year as it's really good fun. Try it!
