WINSFORD finished comfortably in first place when they hosted the second round of the Deva League.
It was another exciting gala and with 24 event wins out of 42, Winsford fully deserved their success ahead of second-placed Birkenhead.
In the 11 year age group, there were individual wins for Laura Astbury (2), Georgia Holderness, Ceri Morris, Dominic Chisholm and Andrew Irvine.
David Sommerville, Kerry Harrison, Sarah Farrall, David Garner and Scott Bennett joined them to complete the medley and freestyle relay teams, and they won these events.
There were individual wins in the 13 year age group for Laura Harrison, Helen Brockley, Ryan Morris, James Wood, Adam Sommerville and David Anderson.
In winning both the medley and freestyle relay events they were joined by David Sommerville, Joanne Reeve, Rebecca Ebbitt, Andrew Irvine and Diane Farrall.
Molly Thompson (2), and Andrew West (2), were the individual winners in the 15 year age group.
Diane Farrall, Tracy Farrall, Richard Forster, George Thompson, Adam Sommerville, James Wood, Laura Brayford, Stuart Waddington, Caroline Bell, Joanne Reeve and Laura Harrison completed the teams that won both the medley relay and freestyle relay.
Winsford do not have many swimmers in the open age group and to finish with two event winners in Caroline Bell and Andrew Hickson, and five second places, is a notable achievement.
Simon Swaffield, Laura Harrison, Tracy Farrall, Thomas Dobson, Stuart Waddington, Helen Brockley, Molly Thompson and Kathryn Shirley joined them for the medley and freestyle relays, in which they finished first and second respectively.
There were improvements to seven club records and several personal best times were set, making it another excellent all-round performance by all the Winsford swimmers.
